The Hancock County Long Term Recovery Program assists local governments in Hancock County affected by Hurricane Katrina to address the county’s long term recovery efforts. The program focuses on rebuilding their downtown areas, replacing public facilities and making other public improvements. The program also assists local governments by allocating funds to support economic development and water, waste water, and storm water infrastructure needs of Hancock County.
